1. The service
Onyx is a personal productivity application operated by Onyx Labs. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
2. Early access
Onyx is currently in early access and provided free of charge. During this period, features may change, and while we work hard to protect your data, the service is provided "as is" without warranties. If paid plans are introduced, existing users will receive clear advance notice before any billing begins.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and for the activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into these terms.
4. Your content
You own the content you create in Onyx. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service — storing, backing up, and displaying your content to you and to anyone you explicitly share it with. See the Privacy Policy for how content is handled.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Onyx to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, attempt to breach the service's security, or disrupt the service for other users. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Termination
You can stop using Onyx and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we'll be reasonable about it.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Onyx Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, during early access, is zero.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If changes are material, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
